Day 1
Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The day is yours to relax at the hotel and get accustomed to the Indian weather and time zone. Overnight in Delhi. (B)
Day 2
Delhi
After breakfast we’ll take a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi including Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Mosque (subject to day of the week) and a Cycle-Rickshaw ride through the old city. We’ll drive past the Red Fort, followed by a tour of New Delhi visiting Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and the India Gate. We’ll stay the night in Delhi. (B)

Day 3
Delhi • Udaipur (By Flight)
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll transfer to Delhi airport for our flight to Udaipur, “City of Lakes” — the Venice of the East. On arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. This afternoon you’ll enjoy a boat cruise on Pichola Lake, surrounded by splendid hills, palaces and temples. Take in the brilliant scenery and take back wonderful pictures. We’ll spend the night in Udaipur. (B)

Day 4
Udaipur
After breakfast, we’ll take a guided city tour which includes visits to the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, a drive around Fatehsagar Lake and Sahelion ki Bari (Queen’s Resort for her friends). The rest of the day you’re free to relax at the hotel or explore local markets at your leisure. Overnight once again here in Udaipur. (B)

Day 5
Udaipur • Jaipur • Pushkar
After breakfast we’ll drive to the Pink City – Jaipur, visiting the pilgrimage centre of Pushkar enroute. On our arrival in Jaipur, we’ll check into the hotel and the rest of the day is yours to relax.
Optional Tour: In the evening you might choose to experience a Bollywood movie at The Raj Mandir. We’ll overnight at the hotel here in Jaipur. (B, L)
Day 6
Jaipur
After breakfast, we’ll visit the celebrated Amber Fort where you may ride on elephants to the fort (one-way hill and subject to availability), and later, visit the Observatory, City Palace and make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds. You will have free time this evening to visit the bustling local bazaars.
Optional Tour: Elephant activities
Including Elephant Painting, Bathing, Rides, Feeding, Tea & Snacks.
We’ll spend the night in Jaipur. (B)
Day 7
Jaipur • Fatehpur Sikri • Agra
After breakfast we leave for Agra, visiting the Mughal centre & Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Agra is famous as home to one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, and the architectural splendours of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces are vivid reminders of the capital’s glory in the 16th and early 17th centuries. Tonight you’ll sleep in Agra. (B, L)
Day 8
Agra
After breakfast we’ll explore Agra and visit the Taj Mahal (closed Friday) and the imposing Agra Fort.
Again, we’ll sleep in Agra tonight. (B)
Day 9
Agra • Jhansi • Orchha • Khajuraho
Today we have an early morning transfer to Agra Railway Station in time to board our train to Jhansi. On arrival you’ll be met by our representative and proceed by road to Orchha. Here we’ll enjoy a guided tour of the Fort Complex which contains the Rajmandir, Jahangir Mahal, and the Rai Parveen Mahal. From here we’ll continue our drive to Khajuraho and our hotel for the night. (B, L)
Day 10
Khajuraho • Varanasi (By Flight)
After breakfast at hotel, we’ll make an excursion to the stunning Western and Eastern Group of Temples before we transfer to Khajuraho airport in time for your flight to India’s holiest city, Varanasi. On arrival, you will be met by our representative and transfer to your hotel. This evening you’ll witness the ‘Aarti’ (Prayer) ceremony on bank of River Ganges – the holy river of India. Overnight in Varanasi. (B)
Day 11
Varanasi
Early this morning we’ll enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges visiting various Ghats (steps leading down to the river), followed by walk through old city of Varanasi before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Later, we’ll take a guided city tour visiting Bharat Mata Temple – the only temple in India dedicated to ‘Mother India’, Bharat Kala Bhavan and the stunning red Durga Temple. This afternoon brings an excursion to Sarnath – it is believed that in Sarnath, Buddha gave his first sermon to his disciples post-enlightenment. Tonight you’ll sleep in Varanasi. (B)
Day 12
Varanasi • Delhi (By Flight)
We’ll have breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Varanasi airport for our onward flight to Delhi. In Delhi you will be met by our representative and brought to your hotel. This afternoon we’ll enjoy a guided tour of the impressive Akshardham Temple (closed on Mondays). Akshardham Temple celebrates 10,000 years of Indian culture with breath-taking grandeur, showcasing the India’s ancient architecture, traditions and spirituality. Tonight you’ll sleep here in Delhi. (B)
Day 13
Delhi
After breakfast at hotel, you’ll have your car and driver at your disposal to visit locally and perhaps do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs to accompany your photos and fond memories. We’ll get you to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
