Day 1
Arrive Cochin
On arrival at Cochin you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel; the day is yours to relax and adjust to the Indian climate and time zone. You’ll spend the night here in Cochin.
Day 2
Cochin
This morning, after breakfast, you’ll enjoy half-day tour of Cochin visiting attractions including the celebrated Chinese Fishing Nets and the 16th century Jewish Paradesi Synagogue. In the evening you’ll enjoy the classical dance-drama “Kathakali” before turning in for the night. (B)
Day 3
Cochin • Munnar
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll check-out and make the drive to Munnar, one of the most popular hill towns in South India. Located in the Western Ghats at the confluence of three rivers, Munnar is set among lovely natural vistas at every turn. Once we check in at the hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore the local markets at leisure. (B)
Day 4
Munnar
This morning we’ll explore Munnar, paying a visit to the Munnar Tea Museum and learning the process behind the ever-popular beverage, as well as the inspiring Srishti Trust, an NGO dedicated to empowering the specially-abled. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own. We’ll overnight in Munnar. (B)
Day 5
Munnar • Periyar
After breakfast, we’ll make the drive to Periyar (Thekkady) and check in at tonight’s hotel. In the afternoon you’ll visit the Spice Plantations and learn about the fragrant spices grown in this region and commonly used in cuisines throughout the country. This evening is yours to relax and explore; tonight you’ll sleep in Thekkady. (B)
Day 6
Periyar
We’ll start early this morning with a nature walk, traversing diverse habitats along trekking routes, generally 4 to 5 km. in length. This is an interpretive programme offering excellent opportunities to observe birds, butterflies and other wildlife among evergreen and deciduous forests interspersed with marshy grasslands. Later in the afternoon, we’ll visit a local bazaar and enjoy a show of traditional Kerala Martial Arts – “Kalayaripattu”. We’ll overnight again in Thekkady. (B)
Day 7
Periyar • Kumarakom
This morning we’ll leave Periyar for Kumarakom. After check in at our hotel, we’ll board a small boat and explore the backwaters where you you’ll experience life and nature along canals and on the lake. Upon our return to tonight’s hotel, the rest of the day is yours to relax and explore on your own. (B)
Day 8
Kumarakom
After breakfast at hotel your day is free for independent activities, and this evening we’ll enjoy a peaceful sunset cruise organised by the hotel. Tonight we’ll sleep in Kumarakom. (B)
Day 9
Kumarakom • Marari
After gathering for breakfast, we’ll leave for Marari by road. After checking into our hotel, the day is yours – relax with Ayurvedic Wellness Treatments (direct payment basis) or lay back on Marari’s superb sand beaches and recharge. Tonight you’ll sleep in Marari. (B)
Day 10
Marari
Enjoy Marari at your leisure. Overnight Marari. (B)

Day 12
Marari to Cochin
After breakfast, we’ll transfer to Cochin airport. (B)
